Accessibility at Bright Haven.

Every family should be able to use our website with ease. We're committed to keeping it that way.

Bright Haven Learning Academy is committed to making this website usable for everyone, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What we do

  • Build with semantic HTML, clear headings, and landmark regions, plus a skip-to-content link.
  • Support full keyboard navigation with a visible focus outline on every control.
  • Write descriptive alternative text for images and hide decorative graphics from screen readers.
  • Meet AA color-contrast targets and never use color as the only way to convey meaning.
  • Pair every form field with a visible label and honor reduced-motion preferences.

A work in progress

Accessibility is ongoing, not a one-time fix. We test as we build and review any third-party tools, such as forms and maps, before they go live. If something isn't working for you, we want to know.

Tell us about a barrier
